Your mission

Missions du poste : 

  • Ensure the smooth running of guests' stays under the supervision of General Management.

  • Manage the Front Office, including check-in, check-out, reservation and guest billing management and control, as well as email correspondence.

  • Supervise the Front Office, Concierge and Valet/Bell teams.

  • Handle guests' specific requests before and throughout their stay, including excursions, ticketing, transportation, restaurant reservations, etc.

  • Recruit and train team members and organise the Front Office schedule in compliance with applicable labour regulations.

  • Handle guest departures and ensure their overall satisfaction with their stay.

  • Monitor and follow up on audits and various daily reports.

  • Develop a network of contacts within the resort and the region to provide recommendations and support to guests.

  • Prepare and complete daily reports.

  • Take ownership of the guest experience across all services offered and promote other destinations within the Ultima Collection.

  • Implement the property's procedures and proactively make recommendations to ensure the smooth running of the property.

  • Act as an ambassador for the Ultima Collection.

  • Ensure effective communication within the team and with other departments.

The Profile

  • Higher education / degree from a recognised hospitality school.

  • Proven experience in a similar position within the luxury hospitality industry.

  • Fluent in French and English.

  • A third language is an advantage, particularly German.

  • Strong knowledge of Gstaad's tourism and cultural environment is an asset.

  • Impeccable presentation and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Rigorous, dynamic and proactive.

  • Excellent understanding of the expectations and requirements of a high-end clientele.

  • Versatile and readily available to meet guests' needs.

  • Excellent organisational and management skills.

  • Ability to prioritise and handle urgent guest requests effectively.

  • Valid driving licence required.
